I am currently on BT Together option 3 - I know not MSE !!

However never got around to swopping and I want to change to a cheaper version, I dont want to have to type a pre fix - always forget... and the best value seems to be skytalk at £5 a month verus £9.95.

Does any one have any feedback from their service or alternative suggestions. info on USwitch, seems quite positive, but thought that I'd ask my friends on MSE .

Thanks

I was with them about a year ago. The service was 100% reliable never had a problem. The only reason I left was because I now use VOIP.

Euphony Talk + Averages out at £4.33p a month over 18 months.Ok if you dont mind a 18 month contract. Good if you call some of the 28 free intl destinations as well.

SKY Talk has been going for about 5 or 6 years and doesn't seem to have been that successful, so they must not be doing something right.

What about virgin.net loudmouth, came across a leaflet from TV Easy this morning, its offering Free Broadband when you take out there Loudmouth CPS landline service for £6.99 per month offering unlimited UK calls and 300 mins and texts Virgin Mobile offer for £10 or any other Virgin Mobile tariff you like but not pay as you go.

I think Pipex was offering this too(Not Bulldog-pipex)

Yes Skytalk has been around for a while, but its just been relaunched with better tariffs.

I thought the Free Virgin Broadband offer was only for a year and that you only had to take out a Virgin Sim Only Contract to get it.

You dont appear to be able to get Loudmouth unless you already have Virgin Broadband.

  • Well thats the whole point, Thats NTL's way of making sure you take out as many services as possible. But remember, the current Virgin.net is ADSL and not Cable broadband, so a BT line is required.

Yes a phone line is required it does not have to be a BT one does it? EG Post Office etc etc would do would it not?

Earlier you said " its offering Free Broadband when you take out there Loudmouth CPS landline service for £6.99 per month offering unlimited UK calls" Do you now agree this is not the case.
