Pension Tax on Funds that didn't receive tax relief
Can anyone advise if money paid into a pension fund that did not receive tax relief can be withdrawn without paying tax on it. It is money that has already been taxed and it would be taxed twice if it is taxable on withdrawal. Thanks

Virgin Money Pensions - a warning
I wanted to use the tax-free 25% of my Virgin Pension Fund and contacted them about it. I was told the only way to withdraw money was as a lump sum; that is all of it at once. That would mean paying high rates of tax on the withdrawal, up to 45%. There is a workaround that you can transfer the money to a SIPP that allows…

Forecasting - Accumulation
Hi folks, despite all the helpful links I've found to various spreadsheets to forecast the stages of accumulation and de-accumulation I've decided it's time to make my own. DB to DC transfer above 30K: what are the cheapest options for advice?
I have 3 DB pensions the CETV of each of which is above 30k (one is 50k, one is 65k and for one I am yet to receive the CETV but it is likely to be just above 30k) I am aware that doing such transfer is jumping through hoops. First, advice from a IFA is required but only a few IFAs provide advice on such transfers. Second,…
