Sea fishing
This probably isn't the right place to ask, but anyway... I know nothing about fishing but I like fish! I wondered if anyone here knows about fishing from the beach: what I'd need, whether anyone's allowed to do it, if there's a right and wrong time of day and whether I'd be likely to catch anything edible. We love going…

toilet cleaners ---refill
I'm new to these pages so I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, I use the liquid toilet cleaners that hang over the side of the bowl in a plastic container (it's so long since I bought one that I can't remember what it's called) and re-fill them with neat bleach when they are empty, works a treat.

Persil wash up liquid---use less
I know that when I use persil wash up liquid I need less to get the required suds BUT they use a bottle top with a big hole in so it's very hard not to squeeze too much out (OH squeezes it out as if it's test of strength and to keep mentioning it meant that I was in danger of him never washing up ever again or sounding…

Lucky Dip!!!
Do you ever stick things in the freezer thinking "I'll remember what that is" and "it's easily recognisable anyway", so you don't bother labelling it, only to find a few weeks later you've completely forgotten what it was, not to mention a multitude of similar looking/packaged meals have since been shoved in there…

Am I still entitled to call myself frugal?
I have done something for myself at last, but the frugal person in me is very uneasy: I have hired a cleaner! 2 to 3 hours per week to do the communal areas, kitchen bathroom, living room and hall/stairs, just enough to keep the place in a semi-hygienic state. At the moment, coming into my house is a serious health hazard!…

Cooking Oil on Clothes
After the resounding sucess of the burnt pan suggestions, I wonder if I might ask for help with regard to a stain on the front of Tshirt. I think it may be oil as from chinese or curry meal. (Not sure but think this the most likely). It has gone through the wash several times and stain is still very noticable.... is there…

Best way to clean a bath?
Hi, I have recently installed a new bathroom. To my horror my 6 year old have left some blue mark from a toy boat in the bath. The bath is from jaccuzzi uk and is of a fibre glass design. What is the best way to remove these stains? Any help would save a 6 year old from the gallows:) Thanks, Nick.
