My driving license was revoked due to alcohol dependency. I declared it (stupid but honest) I wasn’t convicted. After the 1yr required sobriety, my Dr completed the DD2 for, confirming this and my fitness to drive. The DVLA say i need an independent medical examination and this is mandatory if dependant on alcohol. i can…

Air con testing?
On a recent service, the dealer reported that the air con on my 2017 Seat Leon needed “topping up” and the cost would be £150 as the r1234yf gas is expensive. Sensing a huge profit for them, I took the car to an independent garage that specialises in air con. They said the pressure was slightly low but should still have…

Hi all, I've just purchased a Suzuki Swift Sport with the 1.4 Boosterjet engine. Declared my car SORN, now need to sell
Hi everyone, When we were sent home from the office and furloughed on 80% I looked at ways to trim the fat and make it more palatable, with a 60-mile round commute every day the car was the obvious answer and it just so happened the 2012 Honda CRZ's insurance and tax was up for renewal that same week. Seeing as we're a…

Does anyone here own a Toyota Verso?
We are looking to buy a Toyota Verso automatic/petrol/7 seater. They are relatively expensive but we need a big boot and occassionally extra seats. Car Hire with no roadside assistance cover, is it legal?
Hi everyone, I recently rented a car from Easirent, although now having looked further into their Trustpilot I realise they are offering cash incentives for good reviews – but that's another matter! It was only a one-day rental and the brakes failed while I was still 100 miles from home whilst I was driving at 70mph. To…

I think i was flashed but my V5 is in old address
I recently drove to Birmingham and there was a definite flash (it was night time) but I was doing 54 and the smart motorway signs said 60. I've since realised that my V5 is in not my previous 2 addresses, but the one before them, so if I have been flashed, a letter will have gone to this address. If I update my V5 today,…
