How secure is keyless entry?
On the Jeremy Vine Show on Radio 2 yesterday there was an article on a spate of thefts of keyless entry cars. This got my attention as we are picking up our new (well, new-ER) car next week, which happens to have keyless technology. Apparently criminals are now using a gadget to pick up the weak radio signal from the key…

They have ordered the car for me to view this week. I am told if not happy I get my deposit back. What sort of things do I need to…

Long story short, new 2016 TT had a dashboard issue. Spoke to Audi and it was a 'simple' fix but they needed it for 4 days as software was needed and that had to come from the factory. All fine, no issues. They have lent us a 2017 A5 5 door S-Line 2.0 Quattro auto. Full leather, Satnav, puddle lights etc etc. So we asked…

Cambelt tensioner?
I'm thrilled to be after this exciting part. The one and only, cambelt tensioner. Now, where I'm confused is whether I need the wheel-bit. Or the arm as well. The car in question needs the cambelt done, it's well over due. So I thought I'd get the water pump and tensioner out of the way as well. Cheers

I've been refused No Claims Discount protection
I've recently had my first car accident in 37 years of driving. My fault and the car was written off. I've had excellent service from the insurance company who have paid me the car's value (which wasn't much). Now I make a policy of searching around for the best insurance deal each year, but as this company had been so…
