Is it normal practice to get AA membership for 12 months on a new car - but without a normal membership number - which is necessary to make use of the AA Breakdown app (you need to register to use it - with your 16 digit number)
This is the case with my new Suzuki !

Is this free membership supplied with a car purchase? What did the selling dealership say when you asked them?

How long ago did you buy? (It can take a while for the membership paperwork and card to come through - the number is on the card).

The dealership thought that i only got a cheap AA membership but I checked with the AA who confirmed a full package was included - just no membership number - so I am unable to use the app

Did they give the membership number? If not, did they say HOW you can use the app without a membership number?
