Ecall
Ecall is to be introduced to all new vehicles by 2018. Is this a good thing or is more of big brother? OK it has its plus points but it could be used for tracking you or perhaps informing you insurer when you reverse in to the wall and scratch your bumper.

To buy a Diesel car or not?
Based on the recent court case, does it make sense to buy a used Diesel car at the moment? especially as they are likely to be financially penalised over the next few years (After we were all encouraged to buy them!) There's a big advantage to them at the moment but is it likely to vanish soon?

Car Loan \ HP?
Hi All Well I've finally come through the other side of being on a DMP and am now fully paid off. Unfortunately after this I have split from the wife and moved into a new house (I had to take a small £3k loan to afford furniture and deposits etc) with my daughter. As part of the split it was agreed that I would take the…

personal injury allocation
In 2013 I was involved in a minor collision when a car ran into the back of mine at a junction. I was not at fault and the other party insurer paid for repairs to my car. My injuries were also minor - whiplash type. Recently I've had a few calls from companies telling me that a cash sum has been allocated to me by the…

Finance problem caused by dealer mistake after picking up car
Can anyone assist with this? We went to a MINI dealership (a fully branded official one) and have bought a car. We didn't haggle on the price and swapped in an earlier Mini. We chose a PCP contract which was put into the MINI systems, approved and printed out for us. The finance on our previous car was cleared by the…

Car Dealership Review Website
Does such a thing exist? I am looking to buy a used car (2014) non-locally and wonder whether there is a website I could check their credentials on, so to speak? Something along the lines of Trip Advisor or Checkatrade! Thank you. (I've Googled and searched on here but must be missing something somewhere):)

Speeding fine
Hi, not quite sure if this is the thing to do but help! My wife furnished my details after I was caught by a speed camera driving her car. I responded to the 'notice of intended prosecution' providing details of my licence etc. I then received the 'offer of a fixed penalty' but wishing to contest the ticket I referred back…

Best laid plans, in the toilet
Absolutely gutted, it feels like the bottom has dropped out of everything, at the worst possible moment. Following a car on an open, clear road the other week, when the car in front braked suddenly (locking up) for no apparent reason . I am kicking myself over and over again, while I left a reasonable distance, clearly it…

The car has…
