To cut a long story short. I have managed to put around 1/2 gallon of water into a pretty much otherwise empty tank of a Renault Scenic 1.6. Someone I know has been stopped by the police for speeding and has been given a producer. Now, the registration on the ticket is wrong and it also states that the car is a manual but it is actually an automatic. Can the police/courts enforce this ticket?

I've done a fair bit of post reading on other forums on this subject,and the consensus of opinion is that these keys cannot be reprogrammed,despite what sellers on E Bay would have you believe.I'm referring to the 'latest' keys i.e. the 3 button ones.Would anyone on here know any different.For definite?
