    Yes they will do a credit check. Why not talk to them first?
  • Check the company car policy - a lot of them will say that you need a vehicle less than three years old for example, not specifically a new car on contract hire. In which case an easier option might be buying a used car and getting a personal loan through your bank perhaps, where your more recent credit history is known.
