Car Jack
Hullo My husband owns a Mitsubishi Pajero, and wants to get a decent jack for it. It's his birthday in August, so am hoping to surprise him with one. :D He spotted a lovely one in Costco last week for just under £200, but as it was 'only' 1.8 tonne, declared it wasn't good enough for his car. Can anyone recommend something…

car service due-main dealer or independent garage for 4 year old diesel car
I have bought a 4 year old diesel Toyota which is due a service now. The previous owner had it serviced at a Toyota main dealer/service centre. That garage is too far away but I have another Toyota near me. Or should I take it to an independent? Should it be a diesel specialist? Just wondering what is right for a 4 year…

High mileage car advice
Opinions welcome... Hi all, Thinking of buying a bigger / estate car, preferably Audi, Volvo, BMW and the only way i could afford such a luxury model would be to consider high mileage vehicles. High mileage is still frowned upon by many though I've often heard that the German and Japanese cars are good for 250K miles... I…

We've just had it serviced today and they can't find what's wrong with it. We've now got it booked in to the Vauxhall dealership and they are going to do a £50 test on it.…

My car got towed from a closed woolworths!
Hi, I was working at a former woolworths site when my car got towed from a private access drive, the company who removed my car were contracted by woolworths, not the current owners. Are they allowed to do this?? I would assume when woolworths went bust their contract with woolworths would cease to exist?? Many Thanks

4x4's should need a special license!!
Given that these idiots are as bad as shed pulling caravaner's i reckon that you should have to prove that you need a 4x4 before you can get one. Live on a farm, down a dirt track or really need it for off road work then fair enough but does a school run mum really need one if they live in suburbia? 4x4 drivers are the new…
