Hi all,
i inherited an old porsche 944 last year which has stood in the garage and i would like to put it on the road. Now before you jump on me and say if you can afford to keep a porsche you can afford to put it on the road remember these are available now for a few hundred quid.
Anyhoo my knowledge of mechanics is limited and so im looking for someone in Brum or nearby that may be prepared to assist me in putting a few things right to get it up and running. In exchange i can supply lots of refreshments and a little financial recompense.
If i could afford to get it done at a garage i would do but my budget is tight and rather than let the car rot away i wanna do something about it.
Main jobs i think are to get the power steering working correctly and a change of belts as i dont know when they were last done and maybe a check over the car for anything obviously wrong.
Car still starts and runs fine so i dont think it needs much.
Once these main jobs are done i can think about getting it MOT'd.
Anyone who thinks they can help please let me know.
Many thanks.
