Mortgage in Scotland
My daughter and husband currently live in England. They are hoping to buy a property in Scotland and have been informed they have to get a Scottish mortgage. Is this true? Also, we had a mortgage with the Virgin One Account. Do these type of mortgages still exist and would you recommend this type? Many thanks.:)

Hi, I am on a 5.35% fixed rate with Standard Life. I have just received a letter from Barclays stating that the sale of Standard Life to Barclays has resulted in my mortgage now being with Woolwich. Nationwide BMR - still safe?
I have 17 yrs left to run on a mortgage of £25,000 and have been enjoying the BMR of 2.5% for the last few years since my previous rate ended. I am widowed so can't afford to risk having the repayments shoot away up if the rates rise. Should I apply for a fixed rate now? Doesn't seem worth my while for such a small…

Buy To Let's
I've got a BTL mortgage of £50k against a property value of £150k. Skipton mortgages
Hi all Can I ask for an opinion on our situation please? We sold our home last year and moved to a rental as we had a view to building our own house. Hi Folks I've been reading the posts on claiming back on mis-sold endowment policies but still not sure if I can.
