Wrong copy of mortgage app sent

Afternoon
A quick query if anyone can help please.
I remortgaged a few years ago, but the first quoted application did not go ahead, it was a little time later, about 4 months after we did take out a remortgage with that same company.
When I asked for my paperwork on request by paying the £10 charge, they sent me the application of the first application, but not of the one that was eventually taken out.
Am I correct in saying that they should have provided me the application on the mortgage taken out?
The details of the amount borrowed differ to what we did take out.
I do have the Mortgage agreement though, but confused on the application because some details are different to that of the first one, I can recall on that.
Ta very much.

Hello
Not sure if it's the correct one, but got a full one from this site and paid the fee of £10.
I did receive lots of other paperwork amongst the information, but just the one copy of the application form which wasnt the mortgage we taken out.
Thanks.
I cannot do links because I am still classed as a newbie, but it was a sar from the ppi section on this site.0 -
If they have omitted a copy of the form you really need, I suggest you write back and explain the situation confirming it is a copy of the application which proceeded to completion you wish to have forwarded to you.I am a mortgage broker. Yes I will do thank you for your help.0 -
Hi just to keep you updated.
I was told that a new application form was not required for this amendment, as any adjustment was recorded on the Mortgage Offer forwarded to us both.
I have tried looking for this but not come across it, so have left an email and requested for the copy of the offer.0 -
So you didn't make two applications?
You made one application and then the original offer was amended to reflect a change in a relevant detail?
Don't you have your original offer letter?I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I thought another application was made, as we did not take out the first one they quoted for in May 2007, the one we did take out was for a different lower amount and finalised end of August going into Sept 2007.
They are saying as there was only one application made May 2007, they amended it on the offer of the mortgage.
I have since emailed to ask for a copy of the offer on the mortgage we taken out, as we do not have this either on searching.0 -
Also to add to my above post.
I take it that as long as the Mortgage Offer was amended to the mortgage we taken on is acceptable, is that correct? (if no application for for this particular Remortgage)?
Thanks0 -
Yes. The first application remained active. It's not clear so far if there were two offers? Was it offered, then altered so another offer was required?
I presume that during the processing of the application, something changed and the mortgage offer on which you completed reflected the changes you made to the information on the original application?
If you don't mind me beaking, what exactly are you working on that you need this data for?I am a mortgage broker.
