Hi.
Quick question. We have got AIP with a B Pass and Halifax have asked to see last 3 months statements. I have my sisters Housing Benefit and tax credit going into my account as she has problems spending sensibly. Will the Halifax ask questions about this extra money coming in? Should i explain before hand or are they just lookin for my salary as that's all I've declared as income?

Hi there,
If you did it in branch, tell the advisor. If you did it by broker tell the broker..
They will spot this and be all over it to be honest. You may need to verify that it is your Sisters also by way of confirmation.
The underwriters will be happy with this, so long as you can verify that they are not yours...
Good luckI am a Mortgage Broker
