Pay off half our Mortgage question.
We currently have a £70,000 mortgage with ING Direct, (Straightforward repayment no ties or redemption penalties) this works out at £370.00 P/M. Would it be possible to pay £35,000 off the loan, therefore reducing the payments by 50%, ie ~ £185.00 P/M. Or is it just not that straightforward ! Many thanks in advance

Who is right, my Mortgage Advioser or my EA?
Hi all, My EAs wanted me to have mortgage arranged in place (Writing in Principle) before I make my offer. This will make my offer more serious and better chance of getting accpeted. Hi, I've got 1 year still to run on my current 2 year fixed rate deal. My annual statement came in and my bank did not start my fixed rate deal as agreed, and in fact started it 50 days late. Hi, I think I remember seeing someone mention a mortgage on here which is available at a high LTV but which takes into account parents savings held in another account with the same bank to get you a better deal?
