Is there an endowment tipping point ?
I'm talking generally here, not company specific. I've got 5 years to go on mine, and my gut instinct now is to keep it and keep my fingers crossed. However, if it had much longer to go, say 7-8+ years, I'd be surrendering. I'm no expert, but that's just how it seems to me. Is there some sort of unofficial tipping point…

HomeBuy Direct, what affect on the LTV?
I'm trying to get my LTV down to 65% and am wondering if HomeBuy Direct will bring down the LTV down. As i'm a first time buyer HomeBuy will pay 30% of the mortgage as a deposit, which then i have ten years interest free to pay it back. Anyone know if this will have any affect on the LTV? and has any one done this? Thanks
