Remortgage Advice Needed
Hi all, I'm currently on a 3 year fixed rate of 4.39% which will end at the beginning of May 09. Got a few questions: How far in advance can I arrange a new mortgage? Would ideally like another fixed rate for 3-5years, are there any similar deals currently available as although the base rate has dropped I can't find any?…

when does a new build flat become not a new build flat?
I'm in the process of looking for a mortgage for a new build flat. Many lenders will lend a max of 75 % for a new build flat. I have a 25% deposit and I'm wondering if a short term (2year) deal will be too risky due to the likely drop in value and the possibility of stuggling to find a remortgage. Or can I re-mortgage in 2…

I just did a mortgage search and Nationwide are doing a fixed 2 year deal of 4.19% followed by 4.69% for 200 moths or so. Now my question is the 4.69% deal guaranteed to remain the same or can it change according to the banks wishes. If its the latter then how can they advertise it for 276 months???
