Does this sort of thing happen with multiple agency sales? Is there any way…

Fixed or tracker?
Help me! I am in the process of moving to Nationwide onto a 2yr tracker, but they've just announced a new fixed rate of 4.95%. The trouble is, I have to pay an additional £349 fee. Plus I'm hearing conflicting advice on whether rates are going to go up & up, stabilise, or come down. What should I do? ???

Property abroad
I really want ANYONES thoughts and feedback here. In the area that I live in it would cost me about 100,000 for a 1/2 bedroomed flat. However it would cost me about 40 - 50k for a 3/4/5 property abroad. I also publish two magazines that would enable me to freely advertise the property that I could buy, in terms of renting…

Thoughts on egg mortgage, please
I need to remortgage to raise capital for marital settlement. Current lender (A&L) would charge high redemption and new set-up fees ~ over £500 in all. Looks like I should change lenders and am considering egg mortgage. Any thoughts/advice would be gratefully received! Thanks.

From Tracker to Standard?
My 2 year Tracker (- 0.25%< base) with Abbey expires in 3 months and then reverts to base. Currently I owe only £8500 with 8 years to go. I have £1000 which I could pay of a proportion of the remainder. I could easily increase my repayments from £110 to £250 PM. Neither of these moneys would infringe on my current/furture…

Endowment Dilemma - what price friendship?
I have a couple of endowments bought back in the 80's from an old schoolfriend in his first job. I think I've got a clear argument for mis-selling and a compensation claim as he did no fact find, discussed no other options and suggested I would end up with a tax free lump sum at the end of the period. However, I'm…

Buying property from family
My wife and I currently rent our house from her parents, but will be looking to buy it from them within the next few months. Remortgages - Exit Fees SNEAKY RISE
It seems that lenders are getting wise to mortgage tarts - creating attractive headline rates, but raising entry/exit fees. Hefty arrangement fees are usually prominently quoted but any rises in the hidden exit fees are unlikely to be discovered until you want to leave! NB nothing to do with redemption penalties. A recent…
