Moving from contract to sim only
Hello, I currently have a 24 month phone contract with Vodafone, which is ending 30 May. I'd like to move to a SIM only deal on EE (my husband is with them and we want to take advantage of data sharing). When do I need to let Vodafone know I won't be extending past the end of this contract? Do I have to give them notice?…

3rd Party Cons?
I’m ready for an upgrade with EE but their plans are so expensive compared to those through 3rd parties (buymobiles.net, for example). What are the cons of going through a 3rd party supplier? Thanks.:)

Is there anyone who will do wifi calling PAYG except 3?
I live rurally and work from home, and don't get a mobile signal at all. I don't really need a mobile except for companies who cannot understand that not everyone has one. Sadly this seems to include most banks. Anyway, I was on three with an old £30 phone which I bought for this purpose, but they've said that the wifi…

question about phone video resolution
Do phones often have an issue whereby if you make a video where when you turn the video on it is like looking through glass like seeing through your phone, then you get a higher resolution like 1280x720. Whereas if making it so the phone is like a mirror then the video is lower like 640x480?

Text message issue following divert being set
Hi everyone I am sorry if I don't explain this very well, technology isn't my strongest point! I have a Sony Xperia phone and went into my contacts today for a clear out. I set some of the contacts to be diverted straight to my voicemail. Since doing this one of the contacts I set on the divert then shows in my messages.…

Is it worth me getting mobile phone insurance for my phone?
Hi, I have just purchased a new phone and it's nice. But I have a tendency to lose or damage my phones as we all do. I got the phone for a really good price £150 and the cheapest insurance quote I have managed to get is £43 a year. I am in two minds. 1. I could buy another phone from where I got it and keep that in reserve…

Looking for "occasional use" call, txt. data SIM
I had an Orange PAYG SIM, Orange were taken over by EE, and late last year I got EE to send me an EE SIM to replace the Orange one. It arrived with a top-up card, and I put some credit on it and used it for a while. It's my spare phone, with only sporadic use. Mid-March, I started getting txts from EE advising that I could…

Sim only bad credit advice
My ee contract is up in the next month and I am hoping to go sim only to help reduce my outgoings, I'm pretty sure ee aren't going to offer me a good retention deal and therefore I'm going to end up getting a pac code and moving on, does any one know any decent networks for sim only who use a soft search for credit and…

Services you can pay for by premium SMS text on your mobile?
The last thread about this is over ten years old and very out of date. I have £40 PAYG credit I need to use up. Ideally I'll be able to buy something easily convertible into cash at a small loss. Otherwise I'll give it all to charity but can only find a couple and they have £5/month limits which isn't any use. So charities…

Three - new SIM only when already existing customer - keep number?
Hi I'm a long standing Three SIM only customer. They have good Topcashback deals on for new SIM only contracts which will reduce my monthly outgoings. If I take one out and then cancel my existing contract, will I be able to keep my existing mobile number? I know you can "PAC" it to other providers, but in this case it…

E510 Wallpaper?
I have an LG E510 Mobile Phone (I know, it's getting on a bit, but it works for me), and I'm trying to set an image as the Wallpaper. I checked the specifications, which are 480x320, so I cropped the image to those dimensions, but it's still far to big for the phone's screen. I tried reducing the image to 50%, but it's…

Hi all, Trying to find an insurer that will cover a phone that I have recently bought from a reseller. I have a receipt and it includes a 6 month warranty but I can only find insurers that state it needs to be refurbished and purchased from the network or manufacturer which it is not. Can anyone recommend an insurer that…

ThreeInTouch WIFI calling alternative?
I'm a Three customer and have no reception in my home or garden. Three have acknowledged "limited connectivity" in my area in multiple conversations I've had with them in the 1.5 years I've been at the property. Despite this, they still show great coverage for this post code on their website! I know that all mobile phone…

EE problem
Hi, I'd appreciate hearing people's take on this situation I've found myself in with EE. I received phone call from an EE agent on Friday 26th April. He wanted to follow-up on the webchat I had been having with another agent earlier in the week in which I expressed interest in taking on new contracts, namely two sim only…

How did they get my mobile number???
Good Morning I've been sent a text message by a company i've had no dealings with by phone (just by post) and i was wondering how they got my mobile number??? I've never given it to them, or the company they represent. They addressed the text to me by name, so I know it's not just a phishing expedition. (Phishing for me to…
