None whatsoever in my experience.Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.0

The con is the expression “I’m ready for an upgrade”. The networks love to keep customers buying phones every 2 years on finance, they make a shed load of money that way.
Look at going SIM only and either keeping the existing phone, or if it’s really needing replacement buy one separately. You can save a lot of money by avoiding the phone+SIM trap.0 -
Yes but the cost of a newer iPhone is just about equal to buying one and keeping my current SIM card. My iPhone is done, and needs replaced.
