Get a loan or pay cash for purchase?
Lets say you were looking to buy something for a reasonable sum. Perhaps a used car or other major purchase? Lets say the total cost was £8000,you have an excellent credit history. Would you buy the car with cash or would you seek the very best loan..maybe 5.5% and what would be the rationale for your decision?

PPI Lloyds
Hiya guys, I had a loan with Lloyds recently, (last 5 years) and asked them a few months ago on the phone whether it had PPI on it, they said no. Am I being naive by trusting their answer is correct? I was making an overpayment at the time and just asked outright. Cheers guys

applying for education loans
Has anyone managed to apply for an increased maintenance loan for their twins going to uni at the same time? Whilst the application seems to take into account dependants it doesn't seem to adjust the level that can be borrowed by the student due to parental income having to top up two students income not one.....help
