If you're not working you won't get a loan. You may be entitled to get some housing benefit and get rent paid though?0

you need £3000 to pay your rent!!!0

Are you claiming housing benefit? Is this rent arrears or what?[STRIKE]Vanquis £2994.71[/STRIKE] [STRIKE] Aqua £1941.13[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Capital One £970.77[/STRIKE]

Sorry to hear you have run into some difficulty. First of all, don't panic and try not too allow the situation to get you down too much.
The reality is with both a previously bad credit history and the fact that you are not currently working it is highly unlikely you will get a loan. If you do manage to get one it will be at an extortionate interest rate which will likely make your problems worse and not better.
It seems to me, getting a job immediately is paramount, any job should be considered.0 -
OP I hope you manage to sort out your situation, but borrowing will only make it worse.
Instead of rent arrears to deal with you will have rent arrears plus a loan default, letters, phone calls, bailiffs etc
And looking at it from the lenders point of view, they would be throwing £3000 down the toilet lending you the money as you havnt got the means to make repayments.0 -
You won't get one, simple as that. I hope you can get sorted out but no lender will be willing to lend to you."All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered, the point is to discover them."

OP it might be worth posting on the DFW board, and maybe even the work and benefits board.
Sorry but a loan isn't the answer and it sounds to me like you aren't going to get one of any repute anyway.
Good luck

How far short of your rent payment is the housing benefit payment you get? It might be that you will have to consider a serious downsizing.[STRIKE]Vanquis £2994.71[/STRIKE] [STRIKE] Aqua £1941.13[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]Capital One £970.77[/STRIKE]

Other posters are correct. You won't get a loan from anyone except Thug and Slug, the local loan sharks - and even they may think twice as you have no means of repaying.
You say your problems started when you were made redundant. Did you apply for Housing Benefit/Housing Allowance and Council Tax Benefit immediately? If you are only receiving Jobseekers Allowance, you should get the full rate of HB/HA, but if it is HA you may not receive an amount to cover your full rent.
Are you a private or social tenant? How much back rent do you actually owe? How about council tax? What other debts do you have?
