Inheritance while in iva
Hi and help. I am in year 3 of my iva. the starting figure of my debts were 40k but because of ppi reclaimed money by my iva company and my monthly payments I now owe about 12k. I am looking at getting an inheritance of about 20k soon. Does this mean that I have to pay the remaining 12k or will the iva company add charges.

I was in an IVA from 2007 to 2011 and successfully claimed £7500 in bank charges but my IVA company made the 2 banks in question pay the money direct to them. Can I claim the money back as think there is a law to say that charges and ppi payments should go to the claimants and not the IVA companies.
