IVA first payments not taken into account
Hi
I got my IVA arranged with Tudor Kirk in December 2011. I had to start paying straight away (before the IVA had even been signed off).
A few months later, Tudor Kirk told me that NTF had arranged to take over the IVA and I should now start making payments to them. I've started my fifth year and asked for a breakdown of payments as NTF kept telling me the anniversary is in February but I had started paying in December. On the NTF breakdown, none of the Tudor Kirk payments appear. There were 5 payments made to TK.
I just wrote back to NTF to ask why the Tudor Kirk payments were not included.
What do you think has happened to these payments?
Thanks
Stella

Hi,
you should have a record of these being taken from your account on your bank statements at the time. I would wait for the NTF response but not tool long before you call them up. If required offer to send copies of your statements as proof, but I'm sure they'll have records of your payments once they check.0 -
samstella: Firstly your anniversary will be the date the IVA was approved by creditors not the date that you started paying.
Pre-appointment contributions may well be applied to the cost of the Nominee Fee. and may therefore not be included in the calculations.
Check your paperwork and see if there is any mention of a Nominee Fee or Pre-appointment contributions.
It sounds like TK did the Pre Appointment/Nominee work and NTK do your Post appointment/Supervisor work.
Ask the question, but I suspect the first 5 contributions have gone towards your Nominee's Fee.0
