Creditors meeting 11 July 11.30am
My feeling are very mixed, I'm relieved and excited at the prospect of starting on long road to debt freedom in just under 2 weeks time but I'm worried about not being accepted, what we will do if that happens :eek: Also managing on a tight budget for 5 (possibly 6 years) is going to be a big challange.

Hi myself and my partner may have to go down the route of an iva as our seperate and joint debts are getting out of control. We aslo have about a 4k over payment from tax credits that we are paying back. Can this be included into our iva?

Relief at last. Iva accepted.
we had our creditors meeting at 10.15 this morning. At 10.45 I found out it had been accepted. So relieved. Our biggest creditor was Natwest with £25000 and they said yes straight away. Yet another quick question..... If you are in an IVA and the details of your date of birth are incorrect on the official register that you can see online - is it binding?? Seeing as poeple who have parking tickets etc can get out of them with such errors!!??

how to stop phone calls at work
hi i wonder if anyone has had any success in stopping the credit card companies calling them at work? I was reading an earlier thread that seemed to indicate that they just keep on ringing anyway, even when you ask them to take the number off their system? Any suggestions??
