lead water supply pipe
our water pressure is quite low, water company have been and checked and say its because supply pipe to our house is lead and needs to be changed, which they will not do. would this be covered by any home policy or any advise as to how to deal with this problem. thanks

Bathroom Repair
Good evening all. My bathroom is about 5 years old, and I have noticed a small hairline crack in the grouting that extends maybe 6 inches. I’ve had a check under the bath and there is a small drip and I suspect this is where it is coming from. Is this easy to repair yourself? picture below. The tiles are an inch square.

How much to install a modern WC?
I have an old-fashioned /'period' WC (connected via a flush pipe to the cistern a few feet above it) that I want to replace with a conventional 'modern' one. Don't know if I can use the same WC pedestal or have to get a whole new pedestal+cistern but I wondered if anyone had an idea of cost?
