HELP! Need a philips TV stand / foot
My boyfriend has a 32" LCD philips television which he's had since before we started going out. We are moving into a rented property 2nd week in August and plan to take it with us. However, it is currently wall mounted and we don't have the foot/stand to put it on a table top - my genius boyfriend threw it out when he got…

Buying a new Fridge - should I get Ice box or not?
I'm about to buy a new Fridge, just a small one to put in the garage for extra food storage space (I entertain a lot :D ). I don't need an icebox in it as I have a separate free standing freezer anyway. However somebody told me that those without icebox's work differently than those with iceboxes, and if you don't have an…

Magic corner Right or Left
I am trying to work out whether I need a left or right hand magic corner for my Kitchen cabinet. All the sites that I've seen them on seem to show the same picture for both so I can't tell from that. My 1000 cabinet has the hidden corner to the left and the door on the right (hope that makes sense).

Help please - Currys dishwasher dented on delivery
We just took delivery of a Beko dishwasher from Currys. On unwrappng, by their delivery men, we found a dent in the side. They noted it on the delivery note as "cosmetic damage". The dent is pretty shallow, about 10" across - although the metal is slightly creased at the centre of it. Should we ask them to come and take it…

How easy is it to fit laminate flooring?
I'm not a massive fan of laminate flooring, but I think I would like to laminate the "office" floor for ease of cleaning it (shredded paper etc would be far easier to sweep up with a swiffer than hoover from the sort of carpet that things cling to! The room is only 6ft square (well not square as there's a door recess!) I'm…

New kitchen questions
After a lot of thought, I have decided to get a new kitchen fitted, as the numerous problems with my existing one make it the only sensible option. I am thinking of using Ikea, as the general consensus is that they are a good quality, and their appliances are reasonable value (2 year interest free credit also helps!) Has…
