Nursery fees - use as credit commitment for amount can borrow
Hi, Trying to find out a rough idea how much we can lend. Do I put my nursery costs I pay each month into the box where is says credit commitments? I cant see anywhere else for it to go. If I say nothing when we get a decision in principle it will be less. I need to get a good idea from the banks calculator. thanks

Cost of adding a new floor to a bungalow?
We currently live in a bungalow and I'm considering adding a floor. We did this many years ago and I can't even remember what it cost then so it couldn't have been to painful. Planning permission would not be a problem as several people in the area have already done similar alterations. I would like to consider what sort…

Affordable place to live between York & Leeds?
Budget around £160k. We need at least 2 bedrooms, and something with a garden as my main hobby is gardening, and we have dogs (but no kids). Seems the nice areas are ££££, and the affordable areas are ex-mining and described as "grim", but as we are not familiar with the area, and the posts I've found are years old,…

Mining Interpretive Report
Hi All, I'm currently in the process of buying my first house and solicitors have picked up on a mine entry within 20m of the properties boundary. It is no where near the house as it is right at the back of the garden 4 houses along, so it hasn't put us off. The lenders were sent the original mine report, and we have since…

Hi All, I have sold my house to FTB and the house which I have purchased (I know nothing is fixed until we get the keys) is chain free. Equity Release
Seen these ads on TV where you, in effect, take out a mortgage, that isnt paid off until the last one dies! Ok had a look at them, and to be quite honest, son will still get a good wedge, when the house is sold, and we get a complete revamp and dont have to worry about redecorating again! One poster on here went apoplectic…
