does such a thing as a wooden armrest to fit on armchair exist?
As in I use my armchair for pc and have the mouse on edge but it keeps falling off, I remember at college they had chairs that you could pull a armrest into yourself to write on so in theory can something similar exist? Just fed up of knocking the mouse onto floor or when I need to get up putting keyboard on floor.

I have been looking on here throughout the process of buying a terraced house in the NE of England. This forum has some of the most useful threads on the internet and some of the best people to ask. Vendor wants £30k more
We put an offer in on a 2 bed flat in London for £390k (slightly over asking) at the beginning of January. Vendor has been fairly co-operative until recently, whereas his solicitors have stopped being responsive. Got through to them today and told the conveyancer is off for the week, which seemed odd. Anyway, this eve, the…

What's the norm for sol fees in Scotland?
I'm looking to buy a property at the moment, and I've e-mailed a few solicitors for quotes. I'll be looking at places around the £150-170k mark. The first quote I've had back was £1200 (+VAT, + fees to register the property) for a £150k property. Is this normal up here? Been a while since I bought in England, but sol fees…

Offer made - Connells want us to use their services
I've put an offer on a house which has been on the market since April last year. In January, they decreased the asking price by 8%. It's clear from looking at prices of similar properties in the area that the house was overpriced to begin with. The vendor wants offers over X amount and I've made an offer at £5000 under…

Tenant wants reference from my previous tenant
A prospective tenant (Mr A) has asked if I can put him in touch with a previous tenant in order to obtain a reference for me as a landlord. FTB - Costs to consider
Hi Everyone, Today I have accepted an offer of a new job (yay!) and am starting my savings of a deposit for my first home.
