My friends (3 of them) had rented another property from the same landlord; one of those friends was leaving and I was going to take his place. The previous 3 tenants gave the required…

How easy is it to rent out current house and buy a new one?
Now this may be a stupid question so apologies but we would like to buy a new bigger house and in an ideal world would be interested in renting out our existing one rather than selling it. Whilst I like the idea I have no idea about how this would really work in practice and what the pitfalls are. Essentially our existing…

solar pannels
We've just recieved a letter off the council offering to install free solar pannels, in return we get free electric, and they make a nice profit. What i was wandering is if we did install this how would it affect our houses value, as if it would reduce the value it's not something we'd want to consider.

Nearing completion...smell a rat
We have had plenty of drama in relation to selling our old house and buying the one where we are now. We were due to exchange and complete simultaneously back in May but then it all fell through last minute as it turned out our buyer's buyer was not infact the cash buyer they purported to be and there were two more people…

How does this work?
Got this in my email today, how would it work? Build a cashflow positive property portfolio with just £20k. At a recent workshop one first time investor commented that he would like to grow his portfolio but that he had simply run out of capital for deposits. We were surprised when looking round the table to see how many…
