I noticed there are trees and shrubs to the front of the house. would that be the councils job to keep these maintained?

Extension vs Loft Conversion
I wonder if someone might be able to advise me. I am currently weighing up two properties, with the possibility of buying one of them. One of the properties has existing planning permission for a loft conversion, and I am trying to establish whether there is a way of getting a rough cost for the conversion. The permission…

When your offer is accepted...
And you demand the EA/vendor to stop all marketing of their property, does this include complete removal from sites such as RightMove? For instance, if you do a search on RightMove you have the option to include "Under Offer and Sold STC" properties. Assuming you are proceedable, do you demand complete removal from…

tenancy deposit scheme's and non compliance
I have recently taken a case to court as my landlord failed to protect the deposit and provide me with the prescribed information. I started court proceedings and had judgement for default but unfortunately the claim was changed and the judgement was not for 3 times the amount, as the deposit was finally lodged with the…

Just had a first demand for payment of a years ground rent. I've looked at the lease and it clearly states 'The Rent payable from and including the date of this Lease to and including 31 December 2016 is £150 per annum'. They, however, have demanded £250 for the year. I've mailed the management company who sent the request…

Living in commercial property? possible??

We are just about to move out of our house, having reduced it to such an extent that it had to sell! Anyway, we are moving in with relatives with a view to taking the stress out of trying to combine selling with buying. We are moving to Hertfordshrie which is generally expensive so we may consider going into Bedfordshire…

Anyway, the crash happened etc and I am on five year fixes for all of them. My mortgage payment does not cover rent on each one, as there are lots of new…
