Home Information Pack Deadline-June 1st 07
I am getting rather nervous about the impending Home Information Pack legislation. Why are Estate Agents keeping quiet about this? Are they afraid of Vendors/Sellers using alternative means to sell their property e.g. Online Property Websites? I have seen Online websites like propertybroker.co.uk and idproperties.co.uk…

extending lease
Hi there I'm selling my flat and because the lease is 81 years, I'm looking into how much it'll cost to extend it. My VERY DODGY freeholder's agents are asking for £300 to just answer the question about how much it will cost and then they will put it to the freeholder. A red flag went up in my mind when on their letter it…

Anybody complained to the Estate Agent and got somewhere
with them. I am seriously considering writing to the branch manager to complain and anyone else who will listen. I just wonder if it would be a waste of time. They have been so rude through out the whole selling process. (Not the whole of the estate agent staff - just two of them).

We Exchanged on Friday :)

Hi There, I am due to complete in July on my place and I just wanted some guidance from somebody who has been through the process themselves. FirstTimeBuyer - I Want To Make An Offer!!!
I want make an offer on a house and would like some advice on what would be a fair offer. The property is priced at £175,000. In my opinion i have viewed houses at same price that were superior (for example one very similar in it's features except it had a large conservatory at no expense to the garden). The current owners…

We bought a 1930’s semi detached house around 4 months ago – had a homebuyers survey which noted the house had moved in the past but nothing to look any further into. Now, the window frames were rotted – and we had 3 at the back replaced – we left…
