Home treatments for ear issues?
I wear headphones daily and earplugs at night quite often. I get the odd bit of pain in my ear and sometimes a "squelchy" noise/feeling which I think is known as swimmers ear. The ear wax can be a bit smelly too. Any good treatments for ears on the market or maybe some home remedies?

e-cigarettes
The government is going to allow e-cigarettes on the NHS from next year. I know they may help reduce the health bill for smokers' ailments , but anyone who can afford to smoke can, surely afford these aids and leave NHS money for those who really need help for illness, now.

Can anyone from an optican background give an opinion please. At that time I had my eyes tested and was told I needed a small prescription for…

Can anyone recommend a decent home blood pressure monitor?
As the title says really. I've been to an over 40s health check and my BP was high-ish. After a short while, they measured again and my BP was now well into the high category. They suggested white coat syndrome and recommended a trip to the GP and home monitoring. So, does anyone have a home BP monitor? If so, how did you…

Chipped Tooth
I bit my nail this morning and chipped my tooth. It's one of the front bottom ones. You can't see anything, but I can feel that it's all rough on the inside. Doesn't hurt in the slightest, but I keep rubbing my tongue against it (not altogether sure why, but can feel an ulcer is going to appear). As it doesn't hurt, do I…

Can I "scotch guard" my coat?
I'm sure I remember being able to spray a scotch guard to coats (not just boots/shoes) to help it stand up against the rain. Having just almost ruined my coat because it's been rained on so many times the fabric has now rippled and the shape has been distorted at the edges, I'd really like to know if there is a product I…
