I keep hearing people rave about Argon Oil shampoo and I'm tempted to try it on my curly tresses, especially now I've started using chemical dyes again instead of Henna. But I don't want to waste money! Tooth extraction
I am booked in to have a tooth out under sedation on Monday morning. *shudder* The dentist said a root canal would only have a 40% chance of success (to be honest, I would have gone for it, but I feel he has pushed me into having it out. Although that's another story). The tooth does not hurt at all btw, it's just because…

Hairdressers and getting rid of the post-silicone build up
I had an hairdressers appointment today so have come home with products in my hair, my hair felt horrible and full of silicone based products. Henna for relaxed hair? (with Greys!)
Wonder if anyone can help me. I have relaxed hair, I relax it every 4 months. Recently it has started to show some greys (my hair is medium brown, naturally). Dentures
I had a front tooth taken out at a private dentist while in Wales just over a week ago, he gave me a denture to wear but said as the gum heals it will shrink and so the denture wont fit after a couple of weeks. Yesterday I managed to snap it in half, I know I can get it fixed at a dental technician, but would I be better…

I live near Hertford/Ware and have really struggled to find an optician for many years. Rejecting Dieting
I just wondered whether anyone else subscribes to the philosophy of rejecting diets and/or health at every size (HAES). I read Fat is a Feminist Issue a few years ago. It's a book dedicated to the notion that diets essentially make us fatter over time, and the most healthy way to eat is to respond to your body's hunger…
