Microdermabrasion and Laser Whitening
Hello, Has anyone ever had either of these done in a beauty salon? If so, did it make a difference or help the overall appearance of your facial skin and teeth? Thanks :)

Dentist charged incorrect price
I went for a checkup at the Dentist (NHS) about 3 months ago and paid the usual Band A treatment - £17. The dentist told me I needed a filling but he did not tell me that it would cost any extra. He did the filling there and then. I left having just paid the £17. I recently went back to the Dentist about another problem…

Best ever eye cream suggestions?
Hi all, I'm in my late 20's and I'm looking for an eye cream that does it all! The main concerns I have is ...something to hydrate the eye area, something to prevent fine lines/wrinkles, and something to lighten dark circles. At the minute I use nivea visage Q10 anti-wrinkle cream. I use a separate sunscreen (clinique city…

Joint Aches & Pains
Hi all, I was wondering if any of you could help me as the title says I suffer from joint pain and the continuous "cracking" noises that come from them when I move., I do not crack them on purpose although I sometimes do for my back when it's stiff (bad I know). I am 20 years old, size 16/18. I don't know how much I weigh…

Dedicated weight loss/exercise forum?
Anyone know of a good UK one please? I found a few but they are mostly all American. Not that there is anything wrong with American forums, just thought it would be more straightforward to stick to the UK. I looked at the Biggest Loser site but you need to pay a minimum of £2.50 to access their stuff.

Manicures
I've been a nail biter all my life and have recently managed to stop, although it's been a bit hit and miss and I've lapsed back into doing it a couple of times when I've been stressed. I was thinking that I'd like to have my first ever manicure as a reward and also an incentive to keep them looking nice and long but I…

Fitness First Fees
Hello All. I have been a member of Fitness First for 8 years and I have just found out that I pay £6.00 more per month for my membership than I would if I joined today. It's not because of any special offer, it's just that membership fees are less now. I spoke to my branch about it and they have refused to reduce my fees.…

Whats happened to Remegel?
Not sure if this is the right place to ask but I suffer from heartburn a lot and having tried most of the indigestion relief products on the market over the years, the only one I get on with is Remegel. I always used to buy it with my shopping in Asda/Tesco/Sainsbury's. Over the past few months all the supermarkets have…

Cutting my own really thick hair - any tips?
There are a load of advice posts / websites out there discussing cutting your own hair (nothing fancy - just bra-length straight cut) BUT I have really really thick hair - and all the comments e.g. on YouTube videos that I've seen say that the methods being discussed don't work very well with thick hair. I'm talking about…
