Asda Lower Earley Reading - could be countrywide
Just been up to Asda, and they have lots of joint of meat and chickens best before 26 Dec. They had only just started reducing a few bits, but I got the impression they were going to do the rest later. They shut at 6pm, so around 5 to 5.45 I bet there are some bargains to be had. trust me to be too early!

half price mr kipling mince pies wilkinson
Yesterday wilkinson of all places had all mince pies half price 47p for 6. very tasty too warmed by the fire and eaten with a dollop of cream. also co-op has 6 for 80p and these are fine too.

Lidl not increasing VAT to 17.5%
Thought id tell you guys that lidl are keeping the vat at 15% and not increasing it to 17.5%, its from the 28/12/09 but not sure when it ends, its in the lastest leaflet eg the 1 with a big circle with a cross through it with vat 17.5% in the circle
