tesco ham on the bone

Just wondered if you can freeze theses as it says consume in 2 days after opening but they are quite big so would last me longer.

    I've sliced ham off and frozen it and its fine. However, I wouldn't take too much notice of the 2 day rule - I'd be happy to use it for 4 or even 5 days provided its been kept in the fridge, covered up. I certainly did that last week with one of the Tesco £7.50 specials (wish I'd bought another before they sold out!) - and neither me nor DH ended up with the squits!!!!

    Agreed. Use your senses. I have sometimes threw away food before its end of date date. I trust my eyes, nose and tastebuds to tell if something is gone off. I also bought this ham when it was £7.50 and it lasted 4 days in the fridge until we finished it. It may look big and heavy, but you will find that a big (and I mean BIG) part of it is fat.
    Going to war over religion is basically killing one another to see who's got the better imaginary friend...:rolleyes:
