Car hire - one way rental fees
Hi, Does anyone know of any car hire companies in the UK that don't charge for one-way rentals? I'm looking at renting a car to drive us down from Manchester to Gatwick for our holiday, then again two weeks later, but they all seem to charge a one-way rental fee of roughly £50. Thanks.

Change Group, how do they deliver?
Hello, So I've been looking around for the best deals for sterling to euros and came across Change Group. However my only concern is how they deliver the money, like can the notes be easily felt in whatever packaging they arrive in? They have no phone number listed and they have not replied to my email, so just wanted to…

Traveller's Cheques - most useless pieces of paper ever?!
When we went away on honeymoon a few years ago I was given some Euro Traveller's cheques 'for emergencies'. Last year we were in Tenerife and got a bit low on money so I tried to cash them but couldn't find a single place which would accept them. Now we're going away again in the summer, so I thought it would be a good…

Warning if using MSE Travel Money Max
I used it to find the best rate this week selecting the best rate from the first FSA approved company. They do not allow you to request denominations but stupidly I thought they would send a reasonable mix of notes useful for the typical traveller. So for my £1000 what did I get? 700 in 100 Euro notes, 350 in 50 Euro notes…

Halifax Clarity - impact on credit record
I've been looking at my credit records recently. One thing I notice is that cash advances on credit cards are reported separately, and I've heard that some lenders view this negatively. Has anyone ever had any issues getting major credit items such as a mortgage, and found out (or suspected) that it was due to overseas…

I recently got a Halifax Clarity card, so should I just withdraw money out there as oppose to getting some exchanged here before I leave?
