Car hire - one way rental fees

Hi,
Does anyone know of any car hire companies in the UK that don't charge for one-way rentals? I'm looking at renting a car to drive us down from Manchester to Gatwick for our holiday, then again two weeks later, but they all seem to charge a one-way rental fee of roughly £50.
Thanks.

Have you tried Europcar? Last year we hired a car one-way to get us from Bristol to Heathrow, then same back from Heathrow 3 weeks later. Roughly £50 each way + petrol, had it for just under 24 hours. Easier for us as we live some way from Bristol centre and coach/train options cause more hassle.
Edited to add- Think it was under special offers and called "Airport Connect" - not sure if they still do this, and the other big companies may do something similar.0 -

They do still offer this but not available from 18th July to end of August. There is also a hefty £1,000 excess for damage or theft of the car, which can be reduced to £250 for a fee of £13ish.0
