Compensation after delay due to airports fault?
East midlands airport. Delay of 3.5 hours with ryanair which we were told was due to weather (fog) as pilot could not see to land and so diverted to manchester. When eventually flown, new pilot stated that reason for delay was not fog, but that electrical outage at east midlands had knocked out the runway landing lights.…
Airline requesting I pay back compensation
I recently used the Resolver tool to claim back compensation I was eligible for from a cancelled flight (Dusseldorf to Birmingham) back in 2017 resulting in a delay of 16 hours. I had tried multiple times to claim the compensation myself but received no response until I used Resolver and escalated the case to the next…
Who claims when a flight is cancelled from Amsterdam to New York school trip!
Hi all, I am just wondering who would claim for compensation, would it be me being the students father or would the school who booked the flights claim? Successful claim against air india.

But today we received two cheques for £ 508 each for my wife and I , so a good outcome and a pat on the back for resolver and Air India customer service .

I contacted them via their site with my complaint. They came back to me via e-mail to say they needed more information from me which I needed…

Went through a flight compensation company but...

Immediately (next day) i received an email from the airline stating asking for my bank details so that they could pay in the compensation. It seems that they won't deal directly with the company…
Turkmenistan Airline ban
I read that "air regulators grounded Turkmenistan Airlines for safety reasons" https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-47115732 The article says that stranded passengers must make their own arrangements and suggests several ways to get money back: * Contact the airline * Contact a travel agent (if used), * Claim compensation…
