So nearly 200 people, that we know about, probably hundreds more who haven't reported the issue, ALL made a mistake when booking?
CAA are really not fit for purpose when it comes to protecting the consumer.

Yes, we know that. It is the airlines that fund the CAA

Alas its a fundamental feature of UK bureaucracy, continually pass the buck down to someone else.
Government passes the buck to CAA for consumer protection, funded by the airlines.
CAA passes the buck to unregulateded, quango ADRs, funded by the airlines, from money the have denied consurmers from valid claims.
