ZOG Energy
I wanna scream and shout and let it all out..... (In a very good way) Just switched over to Zog Energy and I need to yell about my cracking deal. No one on facebook seems to care about my money saving deal, so thought I'd share on here with sensible people! So yes, I was with Southern Electric for my gas 4.20p per kWh…

Npower's debt goons have sent me a court letter! Fake?
Hey guys. Thanks in advance for your help. 6 months ago I logged into my online banking and noticed a pending transaction for £198 and I usually pay £51 monthly. I called up and asked what this was for and the guy on the phone said "Oops... it does seem like a SLIGHT overestimation...." I like that. Slight. Marginal.... 4…

Switching tariff
I've resolved to finally do something about my EDF fix - happy to stay with them, it's just which tariff to go for. My consumption is 1800 kwh electricity, 10500 average for gas; the vast majority of the gas being used over winter months and electricity pretty evenly spread. I'm currently on the Aug 15 fix. On my…

Switch Fix and Pay Exit Fee?
Hello, I am with Ovo on a dual fixed tariff that ends in May 2015 with an exit fee of £60 in total. I am looking at switching and evaluating whether it is cost effective in switching now as the Cheap Energy Club tells me I can save £277 a year with The Co Op, or just waiting until my deal expires. I can save £23/month with…

Cheap Energy Club Switch
I started to switch my energy via the Cheap Energy Club back in November and since then have not heard anything from anyone at all? When I log in, it say I have 1 switch in process, is this amount of time normal and not what can I do about it? Thanks

Oil price drop, when will energy?
We all know the price of Gas and Electric is linked to the price of crude oil. Over the last 3 months the wholesale price of crude oil has dropped by about 40%, does anyone know when this will be reflected in our domestic energy bills?

Energy lost through old patio doors
I have a fairly well insulated house with a gas central heating system that was renewed about 3 years ago. Although most of the house has decent upvc double glazing, the patio doors are older (possibly 1990s or even late 1980s). They are double glazed but have aluminium frames. I have both blinds and heavy curtains at the…

Pre-payment Meter - Paying a Debt
I moved into this rented property in November last year, and I have only realised that my gas pre-payment meter has been charging me a debt each time I top-up! My suppler is N-Power, and to my recollection I have no debt with them. However, I do remember that when setting up the account when I moved into this property that…

Pay as you go meter, switched supplier, balance to pay?
I have a PAYG meter and switched supplier from Swalec. I received a letter today from Swalec: "Your estimated balance to pay is £23.80". How can this be if I was on a pay as you go meter? I will ring them tomorrow but if closed then Friday. Before ringing thought I would get some insight.

Why haven't gas prices fallen as the oil price fell?
When oil prices were rising gas prices rose too because the energy companies said the price of gas was linked to the price of oil. It seems they are only linked when the price of oil is rising. Rip-off Britain once again.
