I have had this metering system running for 6 months to see if it really worked and it has so here are the details:I had heard of economy 7 which gives low cost electricity for 7 hours to allow storage heaters to warm up so when I pressured my electricity supplier into helping me save money I was put through to a team who…

Hi, I have just brought a house that was previously repossessed. It has a prepayment gas meter and Eon is the supplier. The gas has been switched off since Jan'08 when it was repossessed by the bank. Scottish Power - they fixed my rates although I sent mandate for unfixed!
I've just looked at my bill, and it seems that despite me sending the notice that I did not want to fix my price in October, I've been put on a fixed price anyway. (ETA: I even phoned them a few days before the 31st October deadline to ensure that if my mandate didn't get there in time that there was a record of me saying…

Staywarm / Tesco Clubcard points
i) Why do Staywarm customers NOT receive Tesco Clubcard points; is this another indicator by E-ON that Staywarm customers are not really wanted by them. ii) Why cannot Staywarm customers register on the E-ON website - another indicator perhaps, or do E-ON think that their "older" customers are not computer literate.

Any Atlantic customers?

I said no but I turn the appliances off. She said I needed to get into the habit of turning off the…
