Time to get final bills on transfer?
Is there a time limit by which the company one is leaving should receive opening reads from the new supplier? If the transfer is from dual fuel to dual fuel, should I be concerned that supply was done a fortnight ago, but the other still is outstanding?

NPower debt collection
I live in a house with 2 others and we pay our gas/elec duel fuel quarterly via cheques in the post. Not the most reliable/efficient way to do it, but it's the only one that suits us. Anyway, in early Dec we had our first quarterly bill. Admittedly, it did take us a while to organise ourselves and get it posted off. During…

Click Energy 6 vs Web Saver 1
British Gas have just announced, 3 days ago, a new tariff called Web Saver 1. They are being shady like they have been in the past, i.e. not telling existing customers about the new deal. More info: http://www.energychoices.co.uk/british-gas-launches-websaver1-19-12-2008.html I'm currently on Click Energy 6, dunno if it'll…

Estimated bills - pro-rating of unbilled energy?
My apologies for the obtuse title - let me explain. I'm on DD with British Gas, and have been since inheriting this supplier on moving into our current house a year ago. I have been effectively underpaying for my energy for the past year. Largely through laziness, but also due to having more pressing matters (and larger…
