click energy economy 7
Apologies if already posted. British Gas have just increased the night rate by a staggering 100% for E7 Users. How the hell can they justify that? (From 2.4p TO 4.7p)

In Credit
My parents are in credit with both electricity (BG) and gas (EON) suppliers. After persuading them to switch because it would save them a fortune, they have shown me bills which have them #73 and #148 in credit. If I ring the companies up to haggle can I get the credit back or not? Iain.

EDF price rises?
We have gas and electric with npower, and are looking to switch because of ridiculous price increases. having ignored Southern Electric and their sidekicks, as in Martin's advice last week, we settled on EDF. However, the tariffs that arrived today relate to October 2006, which seems a little odd. have edf put their prices…

Having spent hours on changing my gas and electricity I decided to go 'green' and sorted it all out but was amazed to see that on several 'green' sites they offer Airmiles as incentive??????? Is it me or is that slightly ridiculous??

I moved into my house in September, the electric was with E.ON and the gas with British Gas, I had been on dual fuel with E.ON so decided to switch the gas to them. It turned out to be a bit of a nightmare as it never switched at first, so had to ring E.ON back to re set up the switch again. It ended up happening end of…

Electricity Switch over?
Hi there, Hoping for some advice, I have done the comparision for my Electricity and the best deal seems to be with EBICO, but it also stats that they have not had a price increase since 30/08/2006. So am I right in presuming that they could introduce price increases within the next few months, as the other suppliers seem…

Have I done the right thing?
Two weeks ago I followed advice on the site and swtched my gas and electric for the first time. I looked at all the comparison charts and they all said that the I should change to British gas for both gas and electric. I now find on checking the comparison charts again that British Gas is nowhere on the list. Have I made a…

EDF to remove IGT charges
Hey all, i'm just in the process of changing from Npower to EDF, and just wanted to check i am thinking clearly! EDF are able to remove the IGT charges from my property which amount to 30p a day. this adds up to 110 per year and since my debit is only about £40 a month it seems to me that we will make a fair saving even if…

 This has been going on for over a year. I left NPower in August 2006 and the readings were incorrect, to which our new supplier agreed that it was wrong and they opened a dispute between themselves. Long story.[I have kept all my bills and wrote down the dates, time and who I spoke to over the last year.]I phoned…

British Gas - it pays to complain
Hi all Just thought I'd share my experiences of complaining to British Gas with you. I'm an Economy 7 customer on their Click 1 package. When they announced their 15% price rise I was annoyed but not overly concerned. However when I got my bil on 1st Feb I discovered my rates had gone up considerably more than 15% Old…

Changing energy supplier
Hello all, thought our experience would benefit anyone changing supplier soon. British Gas, Oh no! After a year of trying to receive a credit payment, as stated on our statement, with no success, we changed to Scottish Power in October 2007 & requested a final statement. We have rung 3 times & been assured 3 times this…
