Housing benefit for one month after starting job
I have been told I can continue claiming housing benefit for one month after starting my new job. How can I go about doing so? Do I need to notify the benefits office that I now have a job and then ask for the month? Or do I just not tell them until one month into my job?

hi, ive just been signed on the sick for ( up to now ) 2 weeks . my first time in 15 years this is why i dont no the score. I've been PAYE since starting work 20yrs ago. I've just been offered a job doing the same thing (mainly office work) but on a self employed basis. Can anyone tell me the pros & cons please?
