I'm about £6.5k in debt - what do I do?
I qualified as a nurse last year, and stupidly didn't clear the £3k overdraft I have with my bank. I then needed a new laptop, and was only working 30 hours per week and couldn't afford to buy it outright, so I got a credit card. Anyhow, I currently owe £3k on the card, due to a few impulsive decisions. I owe around £6.5k…

My DH has a £950 debt which is interest free ( he has been paying it off at £45 a month for years!) He rang to find out the balance and Cabot said they would take a £350 settlement fee. This sounded fantastic, and is do-able at the moment, however they said that on his credit rating this would appear as 'Partially…

Moving the goal posts! :(
Hi guys... I'm just wondering if anyone else has come across My partner and I are buying a house, but sadly we've just been turned down by the mortgage we'd gone for. Although I'm not sure how the provider makes a decision, I guessed it would be due to a low score or some sort of flagged 'missed payment' thing on the…
