It's 200 years since the birth of famous writer, Charles Dickens. So here is a quote from one of his books, how true it is, full story below.
"Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen pounds nineteen
shillings and six pence, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery."

yeah as true now as ever, and Dickens wrote it based on experience. Micawber was always in bother with money, had to sell all his worldly possessions to pay creditors and still ended up in debtors jail. The sad thing is, he based the character on his own father, John Dickens, who was sent to debtors jail when young Charles was just 12.:(0
