Will my debt affect new landlord?
Hi there. Am currently looking at moving into a houseshare as this will be considerably cheaper than having my own flat, and help me to pay off my debts quicker. I am in a DMP with CCCS - all going smoothly (ish!). My question is, will my bad credit rating affect my new (live-in) landlord? We are not connected in any way…

Next
Sigh of relief, Next has agreed to a reduced payment and have just sent me an email stating that if the payment is paid everytime my statement is due they will stop all charges. The first one to have actually said they would stop charges - this is even without seeing my SOA. Now on to Barclaycard. Onwards and UPwards - so…

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. Argh! Car problem as I am about to sell to become DF!
Hey! Some of you helped me the other week basically come to the conclusion that as a student I should be enjoying being young and spending my money on myself basically, instead of being in a big overdraft debt that I used to buy a car and I should basically go back to a wee cheap runaround just to get me about. I was…

Self managed DMP help
Hi My wife and I are currently trying to sort out our finances. Having initially started dealing with the CCCS, we found that they were just so slow at getting stuff sorted and we had to contact most of our creditors ourselves. Don't get me wrong, I'm not slagging off the CCCS, it's just that we found that as we'd had to…
