Nationwide pre-approved
So, I'm currently in the midst of being transferred over to Nationwide to capitalise on their 'refer-a-friend' incentive for current accounts. At the point of acceptance online, they also stated (paraphrasing here) that I'd additionally been pre-approved for a CC with them and a fairly decent credit balance level was duly…

So I received a letter to say that the Amex card will soon be dropping off the account and it will be MasterCard only, with a reduced Avios offering. Anyone else in the same boat considering upping sticks and going elsewhere for a better Avios deal? If so, where? Or is it on its last legs?!

Amex Fee Waived?
Has anyone managed to get American Express to waive an annual credit card fee? Got my first yearly fee hitting soon, not sure I want to renew unless they give me a reason to. Called them and they said they used to offer pts etc. and waive fees but the 'bureau' said they can no longer offer this now. Is that true?

Hi guys, going to mexico in a few weeks and wanted to rent a car whilst out there. I don't understand how to use credit cards
I recently took out a credit card with Lloyds for a limit of £1200. My APR is 19.9% So if I paid for a hotel for £600 in May, what would I owe in June? An extra 19.9% interest? And does this keep stacking by 19.9% interest each month?
